The Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan highlighted that Punjab has reached a monumental economic milestone. The state has successfully attracted Rs 1.74 lakh crore investments, driving widespread industrial growth.
Consequently, this massive influx of capital has generated 5.89 lakh new employment opportunities, empowering the local youth and boosting the regional economy. Speaker emphasized that the fertile land of Punjab is now equally ripe for industrial growth. He extended a warm invitation to major international and domestic industrial houses to invest in the state and set up their ventures.
Emphasizing the power of entrepreneurship, the Speaker requested parents to motivate their children toward startups. He stated that true national development relies heavily on industrialization. He appealed directly to the younger generation to shift their mindset from seeking jobs to becoming job providers. By starting their own businesses and becoming their own bosses, the youth can secure unprecedented personal growth and financial prosperity while simultaneously generating employment for others.
Drawing a parallel with global economic models, the Speaker stressed that China’s rapid advancement was driven by its strong embracement of industry.
