The Shaheed Udham Singh Kamboj Memorial Committee organised a special felicitation ceremony in Sunam on Wednesday, during which all the newly elected councillors of the city were honoured. On this occasion, Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora attended as the chief guest.
During the event, the committee office-bearers, along with the Cabinet Minister, honoured the newly elected councillors by presenting them with mementos. Speaking on the occasion, Aman Arora said that it is the responsibility of the representatives elected by the people to live up to public expectations and perform their duties with honesty and dedication.
Addressing the newly elected councillors, he urged them to work tirelessly for the development of the city and to prioritize every public welfare initiative. He assured them that the Punjab government would extend full support in all matters related to the city’s development and public welfare.
