Sabarkantha, April 29

At least six people lost their lives and four others were injured after a private bus collided with a van on a highway in Sabarkantha on Wednesday, according to police officials.

The van, carrying several passengers, was travelling from Shamlaji to Himmatnagar when a speeding bus struck it from behind, said Alpesh Chaudhary, inspector at Gambhoi Police Station.

Six passengers in the van died in the crash, while four others sustained injuries. The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Police have launched further investigation into the incident. WITH AGENCIES INPUT
