DAWK Media Network, formerly known as Darius Media Private Limited, marked its third anniversary on the occasion of Baisakhi (April 13) at its headquarters in Phase 8 here, with the company outlining its plans for expansion into new verticals and international markets.
The event was attended by business associates, collaborators and industry partners, where the organisation reflected on its journey over the past three years and shared its roadmap ahead.
Since its inception, the network has built a digital presence through its platforms ‘The DAWK, Punjab Post Channel and News Next’ collectively recording over 10 million views across social media and reaching more than 7 lakh monthly users, according to company data.
Announcing the next phase of growth, Founder and Group CEO Amandeep Singh Paapi said the network is set to expand into the international infotainment space with the launch of The DAWK World, an English-language platform aimed at a global audience. He also announced SEHAT by The DAWK, a new vertical focused on health and wellness content.
‘Marking three years on Baisakhi makes this milestone even more significant. With these new initiatives, we aim to expand our reach and diversify our content offerings,’ he said.
Co-founder and Managing Editor Gurleen Puri Dhaliwal said the organisation’s growth reflects the efforts of its team and the support of its partners. She added that the network would continue to focus on creating content that connects with wider audiences while strengthening its digital presence.
The event also served as an opportunity to reinforce partnerships and discuss upcoming digital projects. The newly announced platforms are expected to roll out original content in the coming weeks.
